Discover the World of Work with Our Industry Sector Fact Sheets

The world of work is full of new terminology and unfamiliar language — especially for students preparing for their next steps.

To help, we’ve created 17 Industry Sector Fact Sheets designed to make career exploration simple, engaging, and informative.

These fact sheets provide independent, impartial, and reliable insights into different industries, giving students the knowledge they need to make confident, informed choices.

Who can use them?

  • School and college careers staff – to guide students in exploring career pathways.

  • Parents and carers – to support young people as they consider their education, training, and employment options.

Flexible and accessible

The Sector Fact Sheets can be purchased as a standalone careers resource, or accessed as part of our Let’s Do Business programme.
